Real-time audio coaching for precision aerobatic RC flying.
Know when a wing is low, your flight line is too close or too far out, or your aircraft drops below your chosen base height. STAB V2 gives you audible feedback while you keep your eyes on the aircraft.
Small errors can be difficult to see from the ground. A slightly low wing can change a line and carry into the next maneuver. STAB helps you notice those errors as they happen, so you can practice making corrections and flying more consistently.
Use it alongside a coach or when practicing on your own. STAB advises the pilot; it does not control the aircraft.
Coaching You Can Adjust
Roll Coaching
Get tone or voice feedback when the aircraft is outside your chosen roll tolerance. STAB checks roll accuracy around upright, inverted and knife-edge attitudes, helping you work on cleaner lines and more accurate stops.
Adjustable roll detection reduces unwanted roll corrections during deliberate rolls and allows coaching to resume when the roll stops.
Distance Coaching
Set your preferred flight-line depth and receive “Too Close” or “Too Far” feedback when the aircraft moves outside that band. This helps you practice keeping a consistent distance throughout your sequence.
Base Line Coaching
Choose a minimum height for your practice. STAB gives a “Too Low” voice cue or a tone when the aircraft drops below that height, measured from the reference established during field setup.
This helps you keep track of your lower line. It is a practice aid, not a terrain-clearance or collision-warning system.
Mute Zone
A configurable mute zone keeps coaching quiet close to the pilot, reducing unnecessary feedback during takeoff, landing and close maneuvering.
Display, Controls and Bluetooth Audio
The Ground Unit combines an on-screen display, physical controls and guided setup for your flying location. View roll, depth, altitude and system status at a glance. Listen through a compatible Bluetooth headset or the built-in speaker.
Settings and Updates Through Your Browser
Connect your phone, tablet or computer to the Ground Unit’s Wi-Fi network to adjust settings, read Help, download STAB session logs and install firmware updates. No dedicated phone app is required.
Flight Logging
The C.G.B. (Contest Grade Box) records aircraft flight data for post-flight review with Flight Coach. Use real-time STAB feedback during practice, then review the recorded flight afterward.
The Complete System includes a C.G.B.; the CGB Owner Package uses your existing compatible unit. STAB Ground Unit session logs are separate diagnostic records used for troubleshooting.

This package does not include a C.G.B. or an SD card extension. Use the SD card extension supplied with your existing C.G.B.
Your existing C.G.B. requires configuration for STAB telemetry. You can apply the supplied settings using CGB Companion, as explained below. Contact us before ordering if you need help confirming compatibility.
V1 Owner Upgrade — $175 with Exchange
Includes the STAB V2 Ground Unit only. Continue using your existing compatible V1 Air Unit. No additional cables or mounting accessories are included.
You pay $275 at checkout: the $175 upgrade price plus a $100 refundable deposit for your old Ground Unit. Once we receive and inspect your eligible return, we refund the $100 deposit, bringing your final upgrade cost to $175.
Ship your old Ground Unit back within seven calendar days after your V2 arrives. See the full exchange terms below.
Set Up Your Existing C.G.B. with CGB Companion
CGB Companion applies the C.G.B. telemetry and recording settings for STAB V2 through your computer’s browser. No Mission Planner installation is required.
Download the settings file, connect your C.G.B. by USB and open the tool in desktop Chrome or Microsoft Edge. It guides you through choosing the file, saving a backup, applying the settings and checking them after restart.
Download C.G.B. Settings for STAB V2 (.param)
The current tool supports C.G.B. units running ArduPlane 4.6.3 and requires a USB data cable. Contact us if your unit reports a different version. These settings are for the C.G.B., not the STAB Ground Unit or V1 Air Unit.
Power and Installation
The Ground Unit runs on USB power. A USB battery pack is recommended for use at the field. The Ground Unit has no internal battery and needs continuous external power. A USB power source and USB cable are not included.
The Air Radio accepts a 2S LiPo supply, 7.4 V nominal. If powering it through your receiver, check that the receiver’s supply is suitable. Aircraft power sources and the receiver are not included.
The illustrated quick-start guide below shows the connections, polarity markings and mounting separation, then walks you through field setup, settings and Bluetooth audio.
